Faith Family,

Throughout varied roles as your Music Coordinator beginning in 1989, Minister of Music, 2002, Pastor of Music and Worship, 2006, and Pastor of Music, Worship and Pastoral Care 2017, I have endeavored shepherd-leadership in partnership with you, serving with integrity, imagination and Good News principles, personality and practice. 

In keeping with life’s constant and inevitable seasons, it has been appropriate for Brenda and me to ponder our schedules and futures.

With contented heart and gratitude, Sunday, April 11, 2027, is intended as my end date, which provides a final choir season, the worship journey of Advent through Easter along with unpredictable engagements of pastoral care.

While focusing on being and doing church in the present, I believe leadership collaborations will work at future priorities, needs and potential personnel in advance of my departure.  Further details will be addressed accordingly. 

Be assured, behind this decision rests good discernment and a satisfied mind.  What privilege we have shared in worship, risked in servanthood and will experience by God’s faithfulness, steadfast and new every morning.
