Sermons at Blooming Glen are an important element to our Sunday morning worship services. Generally the sermons are preached by one of our pastors; seeking to offer encouragement, instruction and hope.

Below you will find the most recent sermons, which can be played online or downloaded for those on the go.

Recent Sermons:

"Longing for Home" (09-05-10) - Firman Gingerich

Revelation 21:1-4, 22:1-5, John 14:1-3 - God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time; enjoying one moment at a time; accepting hardship as a pathway to peace; taking as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it. Trusting that God will make all things right if I surrender to God’s will; so that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy in the next. Amen.

relate in loving ways, at least humane and caring ways, even to those who are considered to be enemies.” - John and Naomi Lederach

1 Corinthians 13 - Dear Lord, forgive us for assuming that only the physical is real. Forgive our shallow, literal thinking, believing that words and things have only one meaning.
