Congregational Leadership Board: The CLB serves the church in the areas of vision, business & policy. It works with the pastoral team and staff, foundation groups and various ad hoc task forces to direct and support the ministries of the congregation. CLB members include: Bronwyn Histand, chair; Jon Bergey, Ruth Yoder, Ron Smucker, Greg Lacher, Jeff Wilkins, Rose Lambright, and Firman Gingerich, pastor.
Foundation Groups:
- Elders: The Elders Foundation Group works to assist the pastors and minister to the congregation in the areas of: quality of spiritual life, standards of faith and life, fulfillment of purpose and matters of membership. They also support the pastors in their spiritual, emotional, physical, and relational well-being. Members of the group include: Bruce Moyer, chair; Rory Kolb, Ellen Lacher, Steve Leinbach, Noel Santiago, Bob Bishop, John Grasse, Karen Hunsberger, and the pastors.
- Gifts Discernment: The Gift Discernment Foundation Group seeks out gifts, aptitudes, and interests of members and encourages their use of time and talents within the congregation. This group serves as a networking link between persons and ministries. Gifts Discernment is also responsible to lead the process to fill vacancies of expired terms for Congregational Leadership Board positions and all Foundation Groups. Members include: Gary Delp, chairperson; Tamara Giesbrecht, Dorothy Kratz, Clyde Landes, Scott Landis, Georgette Mitchell and Mary Nitzsche, pastor.
- Spiritual Formation: The Spiritual Formation Foundation Group provides oversight for the lifelong journey of following Jesus. We offer opportunities for children, youth and adults to become followers of Jesus, to grow in their understanding of Jesus as they study and interpret God's word together, to experience and extend mutual support, and to celebrate faith milestones. Members include: Mary Nitzsche, chairperson; Brenda Shelly, Jim Ostlund, Denny Gross, Janelle Hunsberger, Lori Bergey, Michael Bishop, and Sharon Snyder.
- Stewardship: The Stewardship Foundation Group's (SFG) primary role is to encourage the congregation in the biblical concept of stewardship--understanding that we are simply managers of the wealth with which God has entrusted us. In addition, SFG reviews all income and expenses and facilitates the creation of the annual spending plan. Members include: Steve Hunsberger, chairperson; Rick Boaman, Doug Clemens, Brent Kolb, Gerald Peddigree, Chad Yoder, and Phil Roth, treasurer.
- Trustees: The Trustees Foundation Group is responsible for the maintenance and care of the physical facilities of the church and properties owned by the church. The trustees plan and organize semi-annual workdays at the church property. There are seven members serving as trustees: Gerald Peddigree, chairperson; Phil Swartley, John Kratz, Keith Hunsberger, Ron Landes, Bob Wismer, and Sherry Moyer, chairperson of Grounds Committee.
Pastoral Care Ministry: Our pastoral care ministry is carried out by the Pastoral Care Team, Class Shepherds, and Deacons. Class shepherds care for those in their respective Sunday School classes. The Deaconing Ministry provides care to our senior members. The Pastoral Care Team ministers to those experiencing health challenges and those who are in the hospital, homebound, or living in retirement centers. The Pastoral Care Team includes: Mary Nitzsche, pastoral team leader, Firman Gingerich, pastor, and the pastoral visitors: Glenda Bergey, Jim Conrad, Elaine Hershey, Louise Histand, Doris Hunsberger, Ellen Lacher, Thelma Swartzendruber, and Herb Wenger.
