This year during Summer Bible School -- August 9-13, 2010 -- Blooming Glen Mennonite Church became SonHarvest County and children participated in some hands-on experiences in learning about and growing “good fruit.”  Through examples of Jesus and His parables, kids learned to grow a crop of love, sprout joy, plant peace, produce some patience, and pick a bushel of kindness!  Each day children heard Bible stories, created their own blue-ribbon crafts, ate farm-fresh snacks, sang great songs, enjoyed fun skits, and participated in fun farm activities and games as they learned to grow the fruits of the Spirit in their lives.

This year’s Bible School Directors were Marti Olenick, Carolyn Marinko, and Claire Wanamaker.
