Jesus said "Let the little children come to me." (Matthew 19:14)

Children are very important at Blooming Glen Mennonite Church.  We are committed to nurturing all of our children on their first steps to a lifetime journey with Jesus.  In order to do so, we offer a variety of ministries for children, and use their gifts and energy regularly in our worship services.

Nursery care is provided  for infants and toddlers by caring volunteers during both worship and Sunday school hours.

Children ages two and up are have the opportunity to attend Sunday school taught by excellent teachers who share and nurture the Anabaptist faith.

Boys and Girls Clubs are a time for children in grades 3-5 to get together once a month.  Club leaders provide a warm atmosphere where children grow meaningful relationships with peers and adults.

Vacation Bible School takes place one week during the summer.  Children spend time singing, playing, learning and growing in God's word.

No matter what the age, we welcome children at Blooming Glen.  Our deepest desire is to have children grow in their knowledge of God, and that it will create a lifetime journey with Jesus.
