Colleges

There are five Mennonite colleges/universities in the United States.  We offer financial support to our college students that attend, and have many alumni from these instituions as members of our congregation.  We invite you to explore these schools by reading the brief sketches below and clicking on the logos to connect to the individual school's website.

Bethel College is a four-year, private, primarily residential, liberal arts college. It is the oldest Mennonite college in North America. Bethel College educates leaders through faith and learning, building its programs on four central values: discipleship, scholarship, service and integrity. Bethel welcomes more than 500 students from a rich diversity of backgrounds. Students may participate in campus spiritual life, fine arts activities, sports and more than 50 clubs and organizations.

Bluffton’s four enduring values of discovery, community, respect and service set Bluffton apart from other institutions. Bluffton provides an educational experience that teaches Christian Values in a Global Community - or put in another way - living out faith with purpose through the Mennonite values of peacemaking and service. Bluffton has approximately 1,150 students enrolled currently.

On campus, in our community and around the world, EMU offers a Christ-centered education that prepares student to serve and lead in a global context. Their four-year liberal arts Christian college emphasizes the core Mennonite values of service to others, sustainability, peace building and cross-cultural understanding. EMU's campus is located in Harrisonburg, Va., which draws nearly 1,600 students for undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

Goshen College

gclogoGoshen College is a private, coeducational, residential, Christian college of the liberal arts and sciences rooted in the Anabaptist-Mennonite tradition. The distinctiveness of a Goshen education derives from the college's dedication to five core values in preparing students as leaders for the church and the world. Stemming from a Christ-centered perspective is their commitment to passionate learning, global citizenship, servant leadership and compassionate peacemaking. Goshen College currently has nearly 1,000 students taking part in their various educational programs.
